So every SATURDAY 2-4PM GMT (9-11 EST...and anyone on the West Coast or in some other time area can count the rest of the hours back lol) I play some big R&B tunes & chatter a little, on BANG Radio. It's a heavy show (and I found out today that Hip Hop Legend Afrika Bambaataa TUNED IN last week when he was getting ready for Wireless and loved it! Big up TJ Chill from Zulu Nation for that one)
We've got a 'ARD BODY, SUPER-DOPE line-up on Saturdays but I'm the only girl on the bill - so I decided I needed another flyy girl to fly the ship with me on Saturdays.
I pulled in DJ Yasmin - Yasmin is one of the funniest twiggettes ever, a brilliant DJ and general rude girl...and she's got a wicked fashion sense is randomly from Manchester by way of Scotland (*coughs*err G-Town?*coughs*) She's been around the BANG studios for a minute but today she had her on-air debut co-hosting with me. We had too much jokes, started a Trey Songz Appreciation Society, Yasmin said what pizza topping she'd be, dropped a bit of gossip about Wireless & the after-party I kicked off the first hour with some new tuneage from Fabolous, fresh cuts from Drake, Marsha Ambrosius & Bluey Robinson and Yasmin drew for some stonking bangers from the 90s in her amazzzing R&B-Side Old Skool Mix.
